Getting Started with ABA

Getting started with ABA can take 2 weeks or more depending on your insurance carrier, assessment time, and your child's needs. Therapy Roots will work with you to ensure your child gets the services they need as soon as possible.

Step 1: Reach out to Therapy Roots to discuss your child's needs.

Step 2: Schedule an intake assessment with a BCBA

Step 3: The BCBA will meet with you for an interview and assessment.

Step 4: The BCBA may request additional time to assess your child one on one.

Step 7: Once insurance has authorized ABA services, your child can begin ABA therapy as recommended in the treatment plan. 

Step 6: The BCBA will meet with you to review the treatment plan and discuss next steps. The plan will then be sent off to insurance for approval.

Step 5: The BCBA will create a treatment plan, along with treatment recommendations.
