Sara Costello Gunning | Owner, BCBA
Hi! I'm Sara.
I have been a BCBA for 9 years and in the field of ABA for 16 years as a volunteer, teacher, specialist, working through a nonprofit, as a program director, and now as an owner and clinician.
​
I earned my Master's of Arts in Teaching from the University of Georgia (2009) and attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychological to complete my BCBA coursework.
​
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings and communities, on 5 continents and in 8 countries. ​I currently live in Bristol, Virginia with my husband, cats, and dog. I have a passion for inclusion, acceptance, and increasing access to ABA for our rural Appalachian community.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children in a fun, play-based clinic setting. Our approach is child-led, neurodiversity-affirming, and focused on building skills through positive relationships. Join a supportive team committed to respectful & compassionate care.
What You’ll Do:

Provide direct therapy through play and natural interactions
-
Support communication, social, and daily living skills

Follow treatment plans created by a BCBA
-
Collect session data
-
Participate in ongoing training and supervision
What We’re Looking For:
-
High school diploma required
-
Experience with children preferred
-
RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
-
CPR/ First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Patient, reliable, and team-oriented
